Verdict

Blue Vic has won twice over hurdles, both times on this track, but scrambled home last time and is 5lb higher. Turnonthegas won easily at Ballinrobe in May before a fine run at Kilbeggan three days later. He didn't do so well from his new mark next time but is better than that and has to go on the short-list. Granaruid looks well handicapped over hurdles compared to his chase rating and is one to note but Kilcross Boy is better suited by further. MULLAGHWILLIN BOY has been making steady progress with three decent efforts in handicaps over shorter trips. Barry Geraghty has been booked by Tony Martin and the combination look set for victory.
