Verdict

Whiteoak Lady had gone nearly three years without a win before scoring over C&D at last week's meeting. She should be thereabouts again off only a 2lb higher mark but the less-exposed OOI LONG makes more appeal. The latter ran his best race to date when runner-up at Yarmouth last time with a subsequent winner behind and Mark Rimmer's charge has scope for further progress. All-weather winner Colourbearer has yet to score on this surface and Sherjawy has been back on a winning mark for some time without taking advantage.
