Verdict

Jim Bolger has won this three times in the last six years - all with three-year-olds - and AQUILONIUS is the only entry from the younger brigade here. He's 7lb higher than when scoring at the Curragh last month but that looked a strong handicap and he should have progressed enough to defy the burden. Cnocan Diva, twice a winner over this trip earlier in the season, found 7f too short at Cork last time and looks a threat as she looks well treated as does Lord Kenmare though the latter, four times a winner on Polytrack, has had 23 starts on Turf without winning. The last time Maundy Money won was off a mark of 80 in October and he's now 6lb lower so has to go on the short-list.
