Verdict

Bornean should improve for his debut second at Brighton and wears his yard's first colours ahead of Thatchmaster. Two Pancakes and Mickstathetricksta were both placed on their respective debuts before poor efforts in the same race over 6f here last time where Hazza The Jazza was also well beaten. Spivey Cove is another likely improver along with SPECIALTY with the latter just preferred as the second foal of former stablemate and 1000 Guineas heroine Speciosa showed some promise on her recent debut at Ripon. Constans and Azrur are a couple of well-bred newcomers to keep an eye on in the betting.
