Some guesswork needed here as all six runners attempt this longer trip for the first time. SURAJ was a losing favourite on fast ground at Newmarket last time but had sluiced up over 1m4f in slow ground at this track before that and if the forecast rains arrive, he could be the one. Beyond Conceit is another who would prefer some cut and he makes more appeal than recent Goodwood winner Spanish Wedding while the lightly-raced Tajriba and Bute Hall should last home on the evidence of their maiden victories. That pair are not easily dismissed but Badea may struggle on what he's shown to date.
