Billy Red has been in good form of late and had Clear Praise behind when scoring in soft ground at Brighton last time. He'd earlier finished behind Howyadoingnotsobad and BEST BE CAREFUL over C&D when the latter pair were second and third respectively. Mark Usher's charge had to be switched in the closing stages on that occasion and can take this with a clear run. Jimmy Ryan landed a double on the Polytrack here in January and the veteran should be thereabouts again while the front-running Mary's Pet has been holding her form well over 6f and could be in the mix on her first start over the minimum trip.
