Verdict

Despite finishing second at Ripon last time, Deepest Blue was still beaten five lengths and doesn't look anything special. Carlton Blue's run behind Jalaa at Leicester is better form while there is probably better to come from Blazing Knight and Secret Sign. Lisa's Legacy is likely to be thereabouts on his debut but another newcomer, LINGUINE, is preferred. Charles Hills' colt cost 52,000 euros and, though likely to do better over further in time, isn't overtaxed on his first start.
