Verdict

Not much to get excited about in this. Fibresand winner Juno The Muffinman is dropped in class and may finish closer while Key Gold has been thereabouts in handicaps without looking like winning. The latter did have Byron Blue a couple of lengths behind at Yarmouth last month and should have a say but a chance is taken on DROPZONE. He gets first-time blinkers after four modest efforts over shorter trips so far but breeding suggests Marco Botti's charge will stay the longer trip and he makes more appeal than fellow Newmarket raider and handicap debutant Lord Nandi.
