Verdict

Ostentation chased home Shouda at Brighton on Tuesday and has every chance of going one better if he's fully recovered from his exertions. Mark Tompkins' pair, Cotton Grass and Locum, would go close on their best form but Magicalmysterytour is starting to look a light of former days while Ivan The Terrible may just need this. CAMERA SHY was beaten two lengths by The Ducking Stool over a shorter trip here last month but was doing his best work at the finish that day and, with the promising Michael Murphy taking over the reins, can reverse that form on 7lb better terms and land a first victory in more than a year.
