Verdict

None of these arrive in great form and that includes CARNAC. He's far from reliable but has hacked up twice at this track this year including over C&D in April and is well handicapped today if in the mood with an apprentice's claim taken into account. Lucas Pitt showed a bit more last time and is back on a winning mark while Ritsi was winning over hurdles last month though his only outing so far on the Fibresand is best forgotten. Course winner Cozy Tiger remains in abysmal form but Sweet Lavender is potentially open to further progress.
