Verdict

UPPER LAMBOURN just edges it at the weights and gets the vote back on the Fibresand. Well beaten on Turf recently, Brian Ellison's charge has won three of his five starts on this surface and today's extra furlong looks within his compass. Bold Marc scored over a mile here in April but was well beaten in much better company at this track last time while course specialist Elusive Warrior hasn't raced since December or won a race since 2010. The veteran My Gacho takes a drop in class and may finish closer while the likes of Flying Pickets and Son Vida have past form at this course and could figure if at their best.
