Verdict

It's anybody's guess how dual C&D winner Carnac will run as he was tailed off when favourite here last week behind easy winner OMID. The latter was having only his sixth start and making his Fibresand debut but the way he took to this surface suggests Nicky Vaughan's charge can shrug off a 6lb penalty. C&D winner Three White Socks has been placed on his last three starts at this track and should be thereabouts once again but Dunaskin's course victories have all been over shorter trips. Dream Catcher is not out of this at his best and makes most appeal of the remainder.
