A decent renewal of this valuable ladies event and the evergreen Sohraab sets a stiff benchmark for the others off top weight. Hughie Morrison's inmate is unproven over 7f so we will look elsewhere and REDVERS makes most appeal. Ed Vaughan's four-year-old finished a respectable sixth in the Spring Mile at Doncaster, and having dropped in the weights by some 4lb in the interim; he looks to be on a very winnable mark. Our Boy Jack appears to relish soft going and Richard Fahey's raider has to be given the utmost respect whilst fellow Northern raider, Orpsie Boy is no stranger to the hustle and bustle of big handicaps, and leading rider Serena Brotherton is aboard. Nina Carberry's mounts are invariably popular though White Frost has a bit to prove at present. Katie Walsh has been booked by Brian Ellison to partner Lindoro though he probably wouldn't be wanting to see any further rainfall.
