Verdict

A tough race for punters as the race features a heady a combination of improving sorts alongside those that have had good days in the past. ROMAN FLIGHT is lightly raced but he managed to account for 23 rivals in a maiden hurdle at Cork in June, and with Charlie Swan going to the trouble of booking Tony McCoy, he should be more than capable of determining the outcome of this prize. Greyfriars Drummer still looks to be improving and is sure to be popular with the locals. He won readily at the course in June and should have no problems for the step up in trip. Raslan and Buck Mulligan have competed at much higher levels than this in the past so both need to be monitored closely for any signs of market confidence. Scotsbrook Cloud has been a likeable sort for David Evans and it is to be hoped that a lamentable run in the Summer Cup at Uttoxeter was just a bad day at the office.
