Verdict

GUARANTEE had to wait an age to get a run at Newbury last time but got up by a neck once in the clear and looks good value for more than the official winning margin. There should be more to come on his handicap bow and he's taken to supplement the excellent strike rate of Willie Haggas with his three-year-olds at this track. Inthar never really threatened at Windsor last time and is stepped up in trip today while C&D winner Choisan found life tough in this grade at Haydock a fortnight ago. Yazdi has been well beaten in Group 3 company since a maiden win at Thirsk and first-time headgear is applied as he drops in class and the unexposed Toptempo makes more appeal than the out of sorts Maastricht.
