Verdict

Redcar winner Izzet has been in decent form of late and could figure again if staying the longer trip while Sinatramania has claims on his earlier placed efforts at this track. Celtic Step seems best on the Polytrack nowadays but Petrocelli found only one too good over a mile in heavy ground here last month and looks to have a better chance. CARLITOS SPIRIT returns to the Flat in fine fettle having won two of his last three starts over hurdles and could be the one to beat if transferring that form back on to the level. He gets the vote with General Tufto looking best of the rest.
