Verdict

Perlachy was having his 20th start on Turf when gaining his first success over the slightly shorter sprint distance here last week and a 6lb penalty shouldn't prevent another big run though a high draw isn't a bonus here. He had the maiden Greyemkay and the C&D winner Bateleur behind and should confirm the form though BERMONDSEY BOB may be good enough to deny him a quick follow up. John Spearing's charge generally races over slightly further but was in the lead at this trip when just run out of it by Dear Maurice at Brighton last week and again ran well at Lingfield on Saturday. The Jailer makes a quick reappearance after a moderate effort at Fflos Las on Tuesday.
