Verdict

Marchwood has failed to step up on his earlier placed efforts over today's trip and was still beaten six lengths when runner-up at Bath last time. Blinkers are applied today in the hope of improvement while Amirah appears to be standing still rather than progressing with another modest effort at Kempton earlier this month. SOMOUD took a step forward at Sandown a week ago when a close-up fifth to Shiatsu and he gets the chance to improve on that run here. Blazing Knight has been struggling in handicap company of late and a debut fourth back in July remains Fantasy Invader's best effort.
