Verdict

If official figures are to be believed then ACT YOUR SHOE SIZE is home and hosed. Keith Dalgleish' filly, the winner of two decent handicaps in early summer, has finished tailed off in two subsequent starts so can't be followed blindly but a return to anything like her best would be good enough. Miami Gator has been well beaten in two similar races to this recently while Underwritten has failed to complete the course in two runs over hurdles since finishing runner-up in a Warwick handicap in June. Goldmadchen, a stablemate of the selection, has shown little since arriving from Germany so She's A Character may prove the main threat as she'll like the conditions and showed a bit more dash on heavy ground over the C&D last time.
