Verdict

Three of these have been given an official handicap rating and Great Demeanor comes out best of those. However, he was expected to finish closer over C&D last time after going close at Kempton and Intrepid has returned a losing favourite on his last two starts after a promising debut. Wallenberg may do better back over 7f today but with doubts surrounding all of the above, MAXI DRESS gets the nod. She cost 80,000gns and John Gosden's Shamardal filly may well prove good enough on her debut.
