Savannah Marshall joined Great Britain team-mates Nicola Adams and Natasha Jonas in qualifying for the London 2012 Olympics after a superb win in the World Championships in Qinhuangdao, China.
Hartlepool middleweight Marshall kept her nerve to beat Russian world number two Nadezda Torlopova 18-10 and book her place in Saturday's world final, and with it guarantee her place at the Games.
Marshall opened superbly, avoiding Torlopova's bombs to establish a two-point lead, and used her reach advantage to excellent effect to extend her lead to three points at the halfway stage.
Another magnificent display of jabbing enabled Marshall to extend her lead to seven points heading into the final round, and despite tiring, she closed out arguably the best win of her career to achieve her goal.
Marshall's win was particularly impressive given she had been defeated by Torlopova earlier this year. The Russian was also the reigning world super-heavyweight champion, before boiling down to compete at an Olympic weight.
Leeds flyweight Adams went on to book her place in her third consecutive World Championship final as she won all four rounds against Russia's Elena Savelyeva to breeze home 11-6.
Adams will next face China's world number one Ren Cancan, the same fighter who denied her the title in the final in Bridgetown two years ago. However, Adams beat Ren in the Strandja Cup in Bulgaria in February.
But Liverpool lightweight Jonas was forced to settle for a world bronze medal after falling 18-10 to another Russian, Sofya Ochigava, who goes on to meet Ireland's Katie Taylor in the Saturday final.
England team-mate Lisa Whiteside will also go home with bronze after losing her featherweight semi-final 26-16 to Sandra Kruk of Poland. Whiteside is not competing at an Olympic weight.
