Two top Saudi Arabian showjumpers have been cleared to compete at London 2012 after the Court of Arbitration for Sport reduced their bans from eight to two months.
Horses ridden by Khaled Al Eid and Abdullah Al Sharbatly tested positive for phenylbutazone and oxyphenbutazone at competitions in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The Federation Equestre International - the sport's governing body - last month found that the riders had violated their Equine Controlled Medication Rules.
But CAS, who heard the appeal four days ago, reduced the suspensions on the grounds the "infraction was of minor importance". The riders have already served their bans.
Ziyad Abduljawad, the managing director of Saudi Equestrian, said: "This has been an extremely difficult and testing time for the Saudi Equestrian team.
"I would like to praise the way in which both Khaled and Abdullah have handled themselves throughout the process."
