Great Britain's men suffered a third defeat in four days as they slumped to a comprehensive 87-51 loss to Russia in San Antonio on Monday.

Dan Clark top-scored for GB with 12 points while Eric Boateng added a double-double of 11 points and 14 rebounds but it was not enough to save their side, who were without Luol Deng, Pops Mensah Bonsu, Joel Freeland and Rob Archibald.

GB head coach Chris Finch said after the loss: "Russia is a very tough team and this game provided an opportunity for our young guys to play against a battle-ready team.

"Regardless of the score, this provides a great opportunity to evaluate. We created some good scoring opportunities but weren't able to finish."

GB, who lost close games in Houston to Nigeria on Friday and Lithuania on Saturday, are back in action on Thursday when they meet the Russians again, this time back in Houston.
