
The Oklahoma City Thunder came from behind against the Miami Heat to take the opening fixture of the NBA finals 105-94.
Kevin Durant was to the fore for the victors, top-scoring with 36 points - of which 17 came in the decisive fourth quarter.
Russell Westbrook was also in impressive form, contributing 27 points and 11 assists, while MVP LeBron James, still seeking a first championship, poured in 30 points in a losing cause.
James' Heat team-mate Udonis Haslem topped the rebound charts for the match with 11.
Oklahoma were 29-22 behind after the first period and 54-47 adrift at the halfway mark but had nudged a point ahead going in to the fourth.
That is when Durant took control, landing with six of his next 10 shots.
