Sarah Storey is set to compete at her sixth Paralympics after she was selected in Great Britain's 18-member para-cycling squad.
Storey, 34, will defend her pursuit and time trial titles as she aims to add to her collection of 18 Paralympic medals - 16 of which were won in the swimming pool - when competition begins in London on August 30.
"Being selected for my sixth Games is very exciting, it has been a long time coming and one of the latest announcements I think I have been involved with," said Storey, who first competed at a Paralympics at Barcelona in 1992.
"Training and racing has been all focused on the end of August and the Paralympic Games and being at home makes it extra exciting. I am looking forward to getting out there and racing now."
Storey is joined in a strong squad, announced by the British Paralympic Association on Tuesday, by Paralympic multiple gold medallists Darren Kenny, Aileen McGlynn, Jody Cundy, David Stone and Rachel Morris.
Kenny was Britain's most successful athlete in Beijing four years ago, winning four golds, and has been named for his third Paralympics.
"It's lovely to finally get the nod and know that I've made the team for London 2012," he said.
"Everyone on the team, riders and staff, have worked so hard to create a team to make the nation proud. To be chosen to be part of that team is a huge honour."
