BROWN READY FOR FRENCH TEST

Nathan Brown: Has no doubts how hard it will be in Perpignan

Huddersfield coach Nathan Brown knows the Giants must overcome arguably their toughest test of the season when they take on Catalan Dragons on Saturday night.

The Huddersfield are aiming to reclaim top spot in Stobart Super League but the Dragons are just four points behind with a game in hand and are unbeaten this year at Stade Gilbert Brutus

And having lose 13-12 in Perpignan last season, Brown has no doubts how hard it is going to be.

"Catalan have their own unique style of play," he said. "They have a different philosophy on how the game is played and they have caught the attention of many people in the past.

"They have a physical and committed pack that isn't just straight up and down. They have good footwork, are able to offload the ball and kick on. They can play a bit of footy.

"They have a game in hand and, if they win, it puts them on 18 points. It speaks of how consistent they have been this season.

"We haven't played them yet this year so it will be a good test for us to see how we are going."
