Ryan McGoldrick: Two-game ban

Castleford stand-off Ryan McGoldrick has been suspended for two matches after being found guilty of illegal use of the forearm/elbow.

The ban relates to an incident with Widnes forward Steve Pickersgill during Castleford's 36-12 Stobart Super League win over the Vikings on Monday.

McGoldrick, who admitted the grade B offence when he appeared before the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee in Leeds, was also fined £300.

Meanwhile, Wakefield prop Matt James has been suspended for one match and fined £300 for striking St Helens forward Carl Forster with his elbow during the Wildcats' 38-12 defeat at Langtree Park last Friday.
