In-form Hull KR will be aiming to make it five straight wins in the Stobart Super League when they welcome Catalan Dragons to Craven Park.
The Robins have been flying high of late, recording impressive victories over Huddersfield, Warrington and arch-rivals Hull in their last three outings.
They also put 70 points on Castleford before that, meaning only table-toppers Wigan - the last team to beat Rovers back on May 4 - are currently on a better run of form in the competition.
If anything the mid-season break came at a bad time for Rovers, although coach Craig Sandercock admits the chance to rest some bruised bodies has helped his squad.
"We had built some good momentum and were playing some half-decent footie," he said.
"Saying that, we had a couple of bumps and bruises and it was good for those boys to get some rest and recovery. We'll see on Friday night if it was a good thing or not."
But while Hull KR are in red-hot form, the Dragons have won both meetings of the teams this season so far, including knocking their next opponents out of the Carnegie Challenge Cup.
The home side's hopes of making it third time lucky against the French side are not helped by the absence of winger David Hodgson, who must wait a little longer to make the 300th appearance of his career.
They also have a doubt over stand-off Blake Green due to a hamstring injury that has ruled him out of the last two matches.
Catalan Dragons are without Louis Anderson but do welcome back second rower Jamal Fakir after a spell on the sidelines.
Young prop Julian Bousquet is named in their 19-man squad for the first time as Trent Robinson's troops look to put an end to a three-match losing run.
"Catalan are a class side," Sandercock admitted. "You only have to look at the number of players they had in the Exiles squad and they've an English international at five-eighth."
