Co-operative Championship leaders Halifax scored three tries in the final 11 minutes to claim a hard-fought 34-24 victory at Dewsbury on Thursday.
With 69 minutes on the clock, a shock result looked on the cards at the Tetley's Stadium as tries from Steve Crossley, James Craven, Elliot Cosgrove and Austin Buchanan put the Rams 24-18 ahead, with Pat Walker adding eight points with the boot.
But Adam Robinson, Anthony Bowman and Sean Penkywicz all crossed late on to restore order and ensure scores from Sam Barlow, Sean Hesketh and Jim Gannon did not come in a losing effort - Lee Paterson adding the extras to all but one of the tries.
