Castleford reserve prop Daniel Fleming has joined Championship club Batley on a dual contract.

Fleming, 19, who signed a two-year full-time contract with the Tigers in April, made his Wales debut in their recent 28-16 defeat by France.

Castleford head of youth development Steve Gill said: "I have been speaking to (Batley coach) John (Kear) about him for the past few weeks and asked him to help in Daniel's development by letting him play Championship football for the rest of the season so we can see where he is for next year."
