Exiles coach Daniel Anderson has called up Super League's oldest player, Catalan Dragons forward Steve Menzies, for the second match of the international Origin series against England at Huddersfield next Wednesday.
Menzies, 38, has yet to announce whether he will play on in 2013 but he is showing no sign of slowing up and impressed Anderson while helping the Perpignan club to a 13-10 win at Hull KR last Friday.
The former Manly Sea Eagles back rower, who won 15 caps for Australia and played 20 times in State of Origin for New South Wales, missed last year's inaugural Exiles game through injury and was not selected for the opening game of this year's series.
Anderson, who is looking to make changes following his side's 18-10 defeat at Langtree Park, said: "We got a lot of positives from the first game and we think we can win at the Galpharm next week.
"As the last game underlined, representative squads are always very fluid and things can change quite quickly.
"We've been able to consider more players this time so we'll be looking to bring in some fresh faces. To have a player of the calibre and experience of Steve Menzies available to us undoubtedly increases our options.
"Naming him in the squad just demonstrates how committed we are to both building the Exiles as an enterprise and to winning this match against England and drawing the series."
Both Anderson and England coach Steve McNamara will name their squads on Thursday.
