It is second versus third in the Stobart Super League as the Warrington Wolves host the Catalan Dragons on Monday night.
Warrington went into the weekend three points behind leaders Wigan Warriors and Tony Smith's side can ill-afford to drop points if they are to regain the League Leaders' Shield.
The Dragons are a point behind the Wolves following back-to-back wins and the Perpignan club will be hoping for a repeat of last season's 22-20 win at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
The teams have already met twice this season with the Dragons securing a 44-16 victory on home soil before losing the ensuring Challenge Cup clash 32-22.
Smith does not expect history between the club to play a part in Monday's scoreline: "The history going into this game won't play too much of a part in it. There are memories that we have but each and every game is a new start.
"We'll have a healthy respect for them and they'll have a healthy respect for us I'm sure, then it comes down to performing and executing the plays the best we can and if we do that we give ourselves every chance."
Warrington bring back their big guns, with Brett Hodgson, Lee Briers, Ryan Atkins, Joel Monaghan, Michael Monaghan, Garreth Carvell and Ben Westwood all set to return after missing the defeat at Salford.
Utility forward Simon Grix remains sidelined with a torn pectoral muscle while David Solomona and Richie Myler, who made their comebacks from long-term injury against the Reds, make way, along with Matty Blythe, Rhys Evans and Brad Dwyer.
Catalan coach Trent Robinson has added three-quarters Damien Cardace and Jean-Philippe Baile to the side that beat Wakefield in their last match.
Former Warrington second rower Louis Anderson remains unavailable through injury, along with Setaimata Sa and Thomas Bosc, who turned an ankle in training.
