Scotland: Revised schedule revealed

Scotland: Revised schedule revealed

The Scottish Rugby Union have announced a revised schedule for Scotland's summer tour to Australia, Fiji and Samoa.

Scotland will no longer be playing Super Rugby side NSW Waratahs in a fixture which had been scheduled for June 10 in Sydney.

Scotland team manager Gavin Scott said: "We have had confirmation from the Waratahs that due to injuries and the requirements of the Wallabies squad they would be unable to fulfil the fixture.

"We have looked into alternatives but, unfortunately, nothing else fits into our tour schedule."

Scotland will therefore play just three Tests, against Australia (June 5), Fiji (June 16) and Samoa (June 23).

The SRU also confirmed the Scotland touring party will comprise 28 players.
