Cam Crawford: Has agreed to move to the Waratahs

Cam Crawford is set to team up with the Waratahs after the Brumbies agreed to release him.

The 23-year-old, who made his Super Rugby debut against Western Force, still had 12 months to run on his current deal.

However having struggled to gain regular game time at the Brumbies since arriving in 2011, Crawford approached the club to leave early.

Crawford, who can play on the wing or at full-back, will now move back home to Sydney with the Waratahs.

Brumbies head coach Jake White confirmed: "Cam is a popular member of the Brumbies squad and it's a shame to see him head back to Sydney.

"Unfortunately things haven't worked out for him in Canberra, but with a fresh start in Sydney I'm sure he will have a successful career."
