Faifili Levave: Has agreed a new deal with the Hurricanes

The Hurricanes have agreed new 12-month deals with talented back-row duo Faifili Levave and Jack Lam.

Blindside flanker Levave has been in superb form for the club this season, taking them to the brink of the play-offs.

Lam, the 2011 rookie of the year at the Hurricanes, has continued his development with the Wellington with a series of impressive displays on the openside.

Hurricanes coach Mark Hammett said: "Faifili's work rate this year has been massive. He was fourth in the team this season with the amount of tackles made but second when you look in comparison to minutes played.

"Jack is a consistent performer and hard worker on and off the field. He is a big team player and it is great to have him back for 2013.

"We now have all our loose forwards, except Victor who is in discussions with NZRU, signed up for next season which is a great result considering the top form they were in this year."
