Top seed Agnieszka Radwanska ended the run of local wild card Alison Van Uytvanck at the Brussels Open with a clinical 6-2 6-1 success to move into the semi-finals.
Van Uytvanck, the world number 450, had stunned Ksenia Pervak and Chanelle Scheepers to reach the last eight but was no match for the in-form Pole, who needed just 70 minutes to complete victory.
Radwanska will meet eighth seed Kaia Kanepi in the last four after the Estonian brushed aside former Wimbledon semi-finalist Tsvetana Pironkova of Bulgaria 6-3 6-1.
Radwanska's younger sister, qualifier Urszula, failed to make the semi-finals a family affair as she fell 7-5 6-4 to Sofia Arvidsson, who will next play Romania's Simona Halep, a 0-6 6-4 6-3 winner over fourth seed Dominika Cibulkova.
