Federer: Showdown next with Haas
Roger Federer will contest his seventh Gerry Weber Open final after easing past Mikhail Youzhny in the semi-finals.
The second seed, who has won the title five times in Halle, needed just one hour to see off his Russian opponent 6-1 6-4.
Federer broke Youzhny four times during the match and smashed eight aces.
He will come up against Tommy Haas after the German wild card beat countryman and last year's winner Philipp Kohlschreiber 7-6 (7/5) 7-5.
