Yanina Wickmayer: Into the final
Yanina Wickmayer claimed her place in the final of the Gastein Ladies event with a straight-sets victory over Luxembourg's Mandy Minella.
The second seed was made to work hard for the victory, but eventually prevailed 7-6 (7/3) 6-3 after two hours on court.
Belgian Wickmayer will now take on France's Alize Cornet in Sunday's final.
Cornet, seeded seventh, overcame third seed Ksenia Pervak of Russia 6-2 6-2 in less than 90 minutes.
