Tommy Robredo: First ATP win of the season

Spanish wild card Tommy Robredo continued his comeback from injury by claiming his first ATP win of the season in the first round of the Swedish Open in Bastad.

Robredo, the former world number five who is now down at 199 in the world rankings after a long lay-off, beat Romanian eighth seed Adrian Ungur 6-4 6-2 to reach round two.

Estonia's Jurgen Zopp started his campaign with a 6-2 6-2 win over local wild card Christian Lindell, and Czech Jan Hajek was the day's other winner, 7-6 (7/3) 6-3 over Federico Delbonis of Argentina.
