Lithuania's former junior world number one Ricardas Berankis continued his comeback from injury by reaching his first ATP World Tour final in Los Angeles.
Berankis reached the final of the Farmers Classic with a 7-5 6-1 win over Australian sixth seed Marinko Matosevic.
Before qualifying at the BB&T Atlanta Open last week the 22-year-old had not played a Tour-level event since his defeat to Matosevic in the first round of the Citi Open in August 2011 because of a stress fracture of his pelvis.
Berankis will face Sam Querrey in the final after he defeated fellow American Rajeev Ram in straight sets.
Querrey went through after winning 6-3 7-6 (7/4).
